Electric railways were an integral part of daily life for many Utahns. Utah had many lines that ran across the state. It was possible for passengers to ride from Payson, UT to Preston, ID about 200 miles on these lines. Bamberger Railroad was the connecter between the two largest cities (with Union stations at Ogden and Salt Lake City). This blog focuses on Bamberger Railroad history through photos and touches the other connecting lines.
