Jim Belmont's rendition of the Salt Lake terminal - 1999. Depicted from a photo by Gordon Cardall  -1942. The Bamberger line ran north to Ogden and the Salt Lake and Utah line ran south to Payson.
A four car Bamberger train leaving the Salt Lake yard headed for Ogden. Most of the passengers would get off at Lagoon. In the back right corner you can see the Hotel Utah.
This is the only double-ended car that Bamberger owned. It recieved special assignments that no other car could fill. In this photo it is en route entering Lincoln Avenue headed 36 miles to Salt Lake.
